Calling all of my bold spirits and not-so-perfect garment lovers: the denim trends of this Fall are in your favor! Denim has been slow moving in trends but they are picking up some speed lately. If you’re tired of “skinny” jeans, and flares aren’t for you, or heck, you’re just fashionably exciting, these trends may appeal to you.

Blue Stripes is the trend this season amongst bloggers, designers, and fashion lovers

Next to white and black, it seems like the minimal dressers are adopting this not-so-nautical blue and white pattern. The stripes sometimes are bold, or alternating, or barely-there pinstripe. This trend actually hit the runways in 2014, but here it is just arriving to e-commerce sites and stores this year.
Australia has been very big on this trend, as seen in their street style photographers archives and by their local designers. Also you may have noticed a surge of light blue cotton pieces during the releases of spring/summer wear in stores. These two trends are hand in hand. See below the "it" pieces and where to buy them:

Disclaimer: I am no Ezra Stoller, but these are my photographs. “Are we on the North side or the South side Ma?” I asked her over a million times during our 4-day stay in the Windy City. If you have ever visited there with no knowledge, that little bridge over the river will confuse you days on. The only thing that helped was knowing if I was near State St. or N. Michigan (The Magnificent Mile). Cause of course I can link things through shopping (giggles).

"I'll never wear bell bottoms" you said, "That was so 70s" you said, but now you're on Zara waiting for those Extra Flare trousers to be restocked. Just as flare jeans are coming back in we want flare everywhere from the sleeves to the hem of our dresses and Ellery can be one to blame.

UNDER/LOUNGE WEAR BASE RANGE Base Range lingerie cotton underwear

Base Range is basic, modern, and conscious, all-in-one of course. Organic materials is just a little bit of what their about. The brand is focused on the sustainability of their products while not treating it like a luxury. Styles are very simple including bras with cut outs, bodysuits that you can wear dressed up or down, and t-shirts. While to many people $28 for a pair of underwear may still be too much, remember that you're paying to support a message, and a movement.

And the 70s is back (as I've already talked about in my ASOS for the 70s post.) There are millions of flare jeans out there and now they are in more styles than ever. From your very little kick-flare jeans, to ultra bell bottom flare, you've got choices. But one thing I can say about all flare jeans is they make your legs look longer so to my petite ladies, find you a pair and trick 'em all.
